Skill Up, Stand Out: Industry-Focused Learning in Technology & Esports

Esports Level 1 is designed to introduce learners to the esports industry, the key stakeholders involved, and the various CTE clusters and career pathways related to esports. By the end of the course, learners will be challenged to evaluate current issues within gaming, esports, and society and how they impact various populations and themselves.

Esports Level 2 is designed to give learners the requisite knowledge to select a CTE cluster or career pathway. The course introduces learners to the skills needed in various CTE clusters and career pathways related to esports. Learners will explore the fundamentals of business, digital media, management, and IT, amongst other disciplines, all through the lens of esports. By the end of the course, learners will use the knowledge gained to begin building a professional portfolio and select a CTE cluster to explore further as upperclassmen.

“Esports Fundamentals” is a dynamic middle school program designed to introduce students to the exciting world of esports while exploring industry and career opportunities. Through engaging lessons, students develop essential skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, and digital literacy, all within the context of competitive gaming. This program provides a foundation for future success in both esports and related tech-driven industries.

Esports Foundations is designed to deliver the base knowledge of concepts that learners will need to understand to excel in their academic studies, the esports industry, and, eventually, their career paths. Learners are introduced to the interdisciplinary nature of esports and the various opportunities associated with the industry, such as business, digital media, and event management. Additionally, the content reinforces core educational aspects such as reading, writing, communicating, and critical thinking. By the end of Esports Foundations, learners will better understand how various topics and stakeholders interact to create a flourishing ecosystem and learn how to apply the concepts to their personal lives.

Our Esports and Gaming Camp package provides all the resources required to run a comprehensive esports and gaming camp experience. Learners will practice their gaming skills while learning about effective training, goal setting, teamwork, communication, healthy gaming habits, livestreaming and event production through the content and programming provided. They will gain first-hand esports event experience through the planning and implementation of a live esports event on the final day.

Our curriculum professional development process is designed to prepare instructors to deliver a meaningful esports experience in the classroom utilizing our esports curriculum and educational content. We will work with your instructors to get them up to speed with the requisite esports knowledge to feel comfortable in the classroom. Multiple sessions will be scheduled throughout the year to review the content prior to delivery in the classroom. During the sessions, the pacing, pedagogical approach, theories, content scaffolding, and delivery best practices will be discussed. Furthermore, we will support your instructors throughout the year to help them adapt and deliver the content based on the unique needs of your institution and learners.

The curriculum implementation services help your school, Esports Development and Growth Enterprise (EDGE), and Esports Integration better understand how to best implement esports to meet your learners’ needs. During the services, your school’s mission and vision for esports will be established and clearly communicated to all key stakeholders. Additionally, a facility, hardware, and resource audit will be conducted to ensure the successful implementation of esports content and curriculum. Finally, we will help facilitate the curriculum implementation process at your school and help overcome any obstacles or challenges during the integration of a holistic esports program.
